Conquering Glastonbury Tor

A Wonderful Welsh Wedding in Cardiff

I had a great time piping for the wedding of Romana and Akib at Hensol Castle in Cardiff, South Wales. Lovely weather, amazing venue and as usual, an absolute joy to add something magical to the day. I was also joined by a drummer from Dragon Dholis to add something special!

Magic moments!

A St Andrews Day piping recital in Malvern

I piped at the Wishmoor care home in Malvern as a St Andrews Day treat for the residents, one of which was a proud Scotsman who absolutely loved the pipes. Just before Christmas in 2023, I visited the birthtown of William Shakespeare to pipe for the wedding of Selina and Michael at Stratford on Avon Town Hall. The sound of the pipes in this quintessentially English town, with it's black and white buildings, certainly drew a crowd!

A fitting farewell for a proud Scotsman

Recently, I visited Emstrey Crematorium in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, to fulfil a personal request to pipe for the funeral service of a proud Scottish gentleman. The tunes chosen by the family were 'Sleep Dearie, Sleep' and 'Flower of Scotland' for the very emotional service.
